MacBook Pro 16" late 2019 (Intel) crashes since Ventura
Hi,
I have a MacBook Pro 16" late 2019, Intel i9 8-core 2.3 GHz, with the Radeon Pro 5600M. It's constantly connected to an Apple Studio Display 27" which I use as my main screen (content recopied on internal and Studio Display). It also has a Boot Camp partition.
Since upgrading to Ventura 13.0 and 13.0.1, I'm experiencing two strange behaviours:
- Occasional complete crash while the computer is locked with the display off, or while reawakening from sleep. I have to hold down the power key for 5 seconds. The computer is still running but both screens (internal and Studio Display) are black. Disconnecting and reconnecting the Studio Display does nothing. The Touch Bar is frozen.
- At the end of each day I shut down the computer. Every time I boot it up, it gives me the "You shut down the computer because of a problem" message, even though there was no problem.
See attached: a screen capture from the console after a hard crash, and the message I see every time I boot.
Thank you.
