TouchID doesn't work for Fast User switchiing in Ventura

Since upgrading to MacOS Ventura, TouchID doesn't work for Fast User Switching. It's ok for other things, but the option is not presented when switching between users like it did with Big Sur and Monterey.

MacBook Pro 15" with Touch Bar.

ventura touch-id is greyed out Since installing ventura on my mac (M1 imac, 2021) my touch-id is disabled, in settings all the toggle options are greyed out. I turned off file vault and reset, but that didnt work and added, then removed automatic log in and reset. Nothing. Anyone have similar problems and solutions?

Three finger tap lookup in Ventura is gone? Hi, I've been deferring MacOS upgrades for a couple of years (ageing hardware couldn't take the new releases). Just purchased a new Mac and wanted to keep on reading in foreign languages I'm learning. I used to tap three fingers on the trackpad to lookup, but that option seems to be gone in Ventura. Is there a terminal / hidden settings thingy I could do to make it come back? Thanks

I thought 1 of the suggestions fixed it but it didn’t!
