I recently got the new AirPods Pro 2 and the tracking for the case isn’t working. It doesn’t even show up on my find my app. I have the iphoen xs max, could that be the reason why it’s not working? I don’t have the money to buy a new phone though.

I kind of have the same problem. I have a Iphone 13 pro max.
My phone is fully up to date, with all the latest software updates.
I just got the airpods pro2.
But no matter how many times i have tried to rest my airpods. Or even turn my phone on and off.
I am unable to find the case in the find my devices app. it shows me the airpods but not the case.
Is there anything I can do?
Nothing online seems to talk about the case not showing up as if its a given and no one els has this issue.
Same problem here. Apple please fix this issue. I already reset the AirPods a few times, try connecting to another Apple devices and it still.
For me, opening "Find my" on my MacBook Air helped. The incomplete setup is now complete and everything is working.

Same although for me they show up in find my it’s just their location has not been updated since january.
Mine only show up when the case is opened. If I could open the case, I wouldn't need to use the "find my" app! :(

The
unpairing the airpods and turning off and on Find My and then pairing the airpods worked for me, at least for the moment. I hope it will stay this way.
I tried this method today and it was the ONLY method that worked for me.
