how eject disc from apple usb superdrive????

ok. have you checked your finder preferences?


if you go to finder preferences, in the "General" tab and see if "CDs, DVDs, and iPods" is selected? does the disc appear on your desktop? if yes, drag it to the trash to eject the disc.


if not, go back to finder preferences, in the "Sidebar" tab under "locations"and ensure that "CDs, DVDs, and iOS Devices" is selected.


and there should be an "eject" button in the finder sidebar.

well those screenshots are from Ventura, so that is what you should see. are you looking for them I the right spot? use Apple Menu > Finder > Settings?

and since you cannot find the drive (with a disc inserted) either on the desktop nor in finder, you may have a faulty drive. because I know for a fact that there are many users here that are successfully using superdrives with their M1 (M2) Macs.
