Spectrum app keeps freezing and audio is out of sync
Apple TV 4K, tvOS 16
I followed advice from a user on Spectrum blog to change a setting on the AppleTV to; settings/video & Audio/Match Content/Range & Frame Rate. The problem has disappeared since then for 2 days now. Could be the solution or it could be that Spectrum developers (who were/are aware of the problem found a solution.
Glad I found this thread. This issue is so annoying and should be fixed by now or reverted to a previous build that didn't have this issue. WTF Spectrum!
The 8K cable works really well except on Spectrum after commercial break with a local commercial; the sound initially repeats the first phrase and then becomes ‘lagged’.

I had Spectrum Comedy Channel on for 5 hours and the sync never got off. The commercials all seemed like none of them were local.
It continues to happen to me, no matter what TV or cable I use to connect. I also have 1GB wifi.
without noticing your post, I tripped up on the exact same solution 5 days ago. So far, so good. Video still freezes on some commercials, but catches back up when it goes live.
