shortcuts in IOS 15.1

I am having problems writing new shortcuts. Can someone explain how to write a shortcut with a single parameter for example to Napping (at) to call it by saying to Siri: Napping 40 to start the timer in 40?

when I try

Start timer for

Duration minutes

it fails when called by Siri...

Also, is there any set of shortcut examples which can be trusted to use? Besides examples, a good description of the Shortcuts would really help (many examples on the Internet are for old versions...)
