Trackpad much too sensitive. The slightest touch moves cursor so typescript becomes totally nonsensical and has to be rewritten. All the usual advice for adjustment does not address this issue.

Have you tried to go to trackpad in system preferences/ system settings in order to tweak the sensitivity? If this is not working please boot the mac in the safe mode to see if the problem persists

Trackpad on macbook air responds to slightest touch and moves cursor. This is ruining my writing and wasting endless hours readjusting my script. All the so/called fixes don’t reduce this sensitivity.
