Apple News works on all my devices except my iphone 14 pro running 16.2
Clicking on icon for Apple News results in the splash screen launching and the rotating circle going on for ever. This does not occur on the desktop, or my iPads. Have deleted the app, log out of my Apple account

To start, you'll want to add more specific detail to your post on what the issue is. Is the News application not opening/nothing happens when you touch it? Does the application attempt to open, but then closes back to the home, screen? Does the application open, but none of the tabs have any content on them? Are you getting some sort of error in the application?
Details like these will help give the community a better idea of what exactly you're experiencing so members can provide more relevant responses.

Does this happen on cellular as well as Wi-Fi? Also, these steps should help quite a bit.

Specifically deleting and reinstalling the app.
In addition to that, do you use a VPN, or have an installed profile on your iPhone? Here is info on each.

Install or remove configuration profiles on iPhone - Apple Support
Check those out and let us know (if applicable) removing any VPN or configuration profile helps.
