Hello, I have a new iphone 13 mini and it won't sync with my imac version 10.13.6 (2010 model). The imac doesn't even recognise it when it's plug in. Does anyone know why this might be please?

Did you tried and find it in iTunes? On macOS High Sierra you will need to use iTunes in order to sync your iPhone

Thank you - worked well. They are now talking to each other. However, the phone will send calendar items to the mac but not the other way round. Any ideas please?
