Problems with AirPods Pro 2 and iPhone XS Max

I was asked by the icare guys to submit the iPhone XS for a service that is not under any apple care and will be charged for the same. Its very unfair that Apple releases new products that are not compatible with a not so old generation phones .

did anyone try factory reset on the iPhone xs ? did that work ?

I just did it. I just bought new airpods pro 2 gen. and problem is still existing. Its really disappointing and I regret that I didnt do research before buying them. Customer servise of course tried to help me but they just cant. Its obviously some software issue.

Exactly. They just shouldn’t write in appstore that iPhone xs max is compatible with airpods pro II and I would not buy them. Thats all. In my opinion its violation and apple should get financial penalty. In my case they were trying to convince me that I can still listen to music so all is ok 🤭 seriously. I said that one of the main function normally is also doing conversations. Finally they offered me some benefit in their shop and I agreed because I was planning to buy new iPhone anyway and knew that this problem will be irrelevant soon. So now I have iPhone 15 pro max and all is ok. I assume there will be no any fixing updates so don’t wait for that guys 🤷‍♂️

Exactly the same problem, money wasted, iphone xs, after the 16.3 update, the problem is not solved!!!!!!!!!! I checked on other models, everything works.

As I know, after update to 16.3.1 still this issue, so a firmware update it’s needed urgently!

I have purchased the new iPhone 14 Pro Max 1Tb and my AirPods Pro (2nd generation) works perfectly with this device, so for the XS Max for sure it needs a fix urgently!

Right, nothing works yet! I have now the new Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max 1Tb device and still randomly disconnections, playing Apple Music songs too… A pity!
