Can someone please help me get rid of the virus warning popup that wants me to do a scan? A popup appears, which looks exactly like the System Settings icon, and tells me that I have 3 viruses and that I must do a scan. I am including a picture of the warning as well as the URL.

I have been able to stop the malware popup!
I thought that maybe it was a notification rather than a popup, so I went into the Notification Centre. I saw a suspicious looking entry in there. I have a screen shot of it attached to this post.
I simply turned the item off and I haven't seen the popup since. I haven't removed the malware, but at least I don't have to see it.

Problem solved! Thank you very much for bringing that thread to my attention. I have deleted the popup and it hasn't appeared for over a week!
