CarPlay not working iOS 16.3.1

Same. I Have the same car with the exact issue you're having. I've taken my car into Kia and they couldn't find a single problem with the car. I even called Kia corporate and they are trying to see if the problem is with the car. It worked fine until this update. I really hope Apple fix this problem and fix it soon.

Hello I am from Mexico my car worked for years amazing.the usb broke I changed it and it stop working. I tried reset networking …turn off car ..phone…cables and it’s not working . The agency told my that could be the last iOS. Help me I want my car play to worl

I have an Audi A6 2019, which my phones would not reconnect to after the new update, but after reading this forum, I just reset my in car entertainment system and connected back up with no problems now. Hope this helps

Same thing for me, I have tried everything down to resetting my entire phone and nothing has worked. I am so irritated about this. My husband's android phone works perfectly fine, no issues at all when he uses the USB cord, everything works great!!! So I know it's not my Kia.

Congratulations everyone that takes the time to say “I reset my car system and now it works”. You must have a high opinion of your technological knowledge. I hope you’ll come back and post when it goes out in 20 days… clearly the problem is not your BMW/Audi/Kia/etc! It’s Apple iOS.

Carplay was working fine with Audi Q5 via USB cable until I updgraded to 16.3.1 firmware on iphone14 pro? Any suggestion how to fix it? I have tried every setting published on apple support website but still the same result.

Same for me. I'm surprised how Apple dropped the ball on this and hasn't fixed it. CP worked fine until iOS 16.3.1 on my iPhone 12 Pro. Tried different cables, made sure firmware of my Sony Head unit was up to date, it was, but still problems. My steering wheel audio controls are hosed. I reset my unit, re set-up controls, still broken.

After updating iphone 16.3.1 car play mirroring apps no longer works.

Have reset settings on phone, checked siri is working, reset infotainment system on VW and tried numerous cables but car play does not pop up and apps no longer mirror on screen.

Hi! I'm from Poland. After installing iOS 16.3.1 in my Koleos, CarPlay stopped working. R-Link 2 did not allow it to work at all. I did a network settings reset on my iPhone 12 Pro Mac but it had no effect. Only after resetting to factory settings R-Link 2 CarPlay works without any problems.

Same for me in my Hyundai Santa Fe Phev 2022 tried both (iOS 16.3.1 ) Iphone 11 and Pro Max 12, none of them works correctly pressing bottom for Siri - just an error page will appear on the screen so frustrating......

Infotaiment connected to phone through bluetooth - works perfeect but as soon as I connect phone through cable (tried a couple) the carplay pops up - but many of the functions doesn´t work...

Mine is now working - but it took a while for the software to connect to each other. I had to restart the cars infotainment and the phone as well - turned off the bluetooth on phone and connected Carplay wired - after that the system worked and I could also turn bluetooth on and still the carplay worked fine. I´ve only tried it for 10 min so let´s see how it works long term in a couple of days. Siri through infotainment also responded now. Fingers crossed.

Also doesn't work after update 16.4 on Chevrolet Tracker 2022. Tried everything what mentioned before (changing cabels, resetting both car and iphone settings, repairing and etc.) The ptogress only that car sees Unreadable device USB. Very upset ^(

I had some issues with the update to iOS 15 a while ago. But after an update, it's been smooth sailing with Apple CarPlay until recently. 16.3.1 just crashed my head unit on a road trip last weekend. My wife, on the other hand, has Android. We have never had an issue with her Android Auto. It has me thinking about a switch.

Unfortunately, I have a lot of things in the Apple ecosystem. But the most expensive thing (and the most important, IMO) is my car. It used to be that Apple products seemed pretty much bulletproof. That, however, has not been my experience recently.

Hi, apple carplay worked for me in Honda without problems for almost a year. A few days after the iOS 16.3.1 update, it stopped working. Even resetting and re-pairing the device doesn't help me.
