I have an IPad 6th Generation that shows it is installed IOS 16.3.1 but it hasn’t.

I tried to delete the update so I can download it again. It will not delete.



my IPad will not hold battery power more than 10 minutes without being plugged in.


what can I do to correct the above problems?

This may well indicate the fundamental underlying issue. Perhaps it’s time for service.

I did as you said and force started my IPad. It didn’t help.


My IPad has the following:

  1. 42.4GB of 128 GB
  2. it says IPad OS Version 16.3.1 (it hasn’t updated to that or something went wrong and it is working correctly.) I get a message to updated to the latest browser and cannot do it.
  3. System files 8.15GB
  4. IPad 6th Generation
