Slow Internet speed on my MacBookPro & it becomes fast on restart

My internet speed drops after a few hours of use on my MacBookPro. On checking the speed using https://www.samknows.com/realspeed/ it clearly shows the drop in speed is between my MacBook and router. I tried other devices and they all work fine. Once I restart my MacBook the speed is back fine. Any suggestions or fixes? MacOS is on Ventura 13.2.1

Q - Battery failure - Your battery is reporting that it needs to be serviced.

Q- High battery cycle count - Your battery may be losing capacity

Q - Battery: Health = Service Battery - Cycle count = 1014

A - Batteries are considered Consumable Products. Over time it will degrade to a point where it needs to be replaced. The usage is normal as the capacity will go up and down all the time and never stay always at 100%. Apple Batteries are rated for 1000 Full Battery Cycles and / or 80% Capacity before needing Evaluation or replacement.

Q - Antivirus software: Apple and Bitdefender

Q - [Not Loaded] com.bitdefender.vpn.neprovider - version 4.2.1 (Bitdefender SRL - 2022-12-15)⠨      Application: /Applications/Bitdefender/Bitdefender VPN.app - version 4.2.1 (Bitdefender SRL - 2022-12-15)

A - There are no known Windows-like Viruses in the wild that self replicate and affect macOS, because of the underling UNIX  Foundation and Permission Limitation.

Additionally, in macOS 11 Big Sur, macOS 12 Monterey and macOS 13 Ventura.

The Operating System resides in a Sealed and Read Only Volume that can not be opened by the User nor by Third Party Applications.

The only Entity that can open and modify or alter this Volume is Apple.

That would occur when a update or UpGrade is performed.

The Only thing this Antivirus software is protecting is the Bank Account of the Developers and for zero return to the User aside from the problems this software creates.

AntiVirus Developers purposefully Market their product to create a “ Fear Factor “. In so doing, creating a False Need for their Product.

The The Built in Security  is all that is required to protect the computer.

A - Any Third Party Applications that will interfere with the normal operation of the OS,  is an invitation for disaster and comprising the Operating System

Certain Applications maybe available on the Apple Apps Store - this only means the Developer is prepared to pay Apple a portion on each sale. What the Application may do to the computer is up to the User to check this out before purchase

Any of the below should be removed as per Developers Instructions

I agree on your points but look at your link provides Zero results on my connection speed.

Reason, that Site is configured for your Specific ISP ROUTER

In second image below from the Web Interface of my ISP Router and from Within the Router Interface

This become truly academic as you have follow the good suggestion from @ Luis S above

I've got 4 other devices connected to the same router and they have no issues with speed, so its deifnitely not a router issue. Its just my MacBook Pro that has the issue.

On a separate point - sites like speedtest blindly shows you just one speed to the remote server. The beauty of Samknows.com is it gives you a breakdown i.e. the speed between laptop and router and router to remote server. This way you can rule out any issues between router and remote server.

Battery failure - Your battery is reporting that it needs to be serviced.

You should take care of this sooner rather than later.

Antivirus software: Apple and Bitdefender

Completely uninstall Bitdefender. It is not providing you with any security and is hurting performance - potentially causing the issue you are experiencing.

Your Virtualbox software is not up to date. If you rely on it, you should update to the current version.

All these Safari extensions, purportedly linked with security, could be causing your network access to slow down considerably.
