JPEG in text message
Recently when friends or family send me pictures through iMessage Ive been receiving them as jpegs and I can’t see the image and this recently started happening like a week ago.

Great, that worked for my ifun 13 and my mums iphone 11, disable imessage, turn off phone, restart phone and wait a minute or less and then turn imessage back on.

No its not from Android phones because my sister is having this problem also and I just sent her pics from my brand new iphone 14 Pro-Max, so it definitely cant be just from Androids sending pics.
it just deleted the message all together :(
How do I make sure that when I send a message that my picture with also been shown?
i’m having exact same problem on 12 max pro. just started last night.
This started 3 days ago on my up to date iPhone, I get a "?" on a doc-image. Tried the mentioned steps and nada.
