Stage Manager

I initially was going to post about how hovering over the lefthand side of the screen wouldn't display the stage manager apps, however, I was able to solve this by changing the "Automatically hide and show the menu bar" setting to "In full screen only". So I hope that helps anyone who experienced the same issue.

This brought to light a separate issue though. Is this a bug? Should it really require that the Menu Bar be visible in order for this to work properly?

I can't say what issue the author is having but as far as your issue it should work. Try booting into Safe Mode then restart normally. That will sometimes fix anomalies.

Not sure how to answer your question. I have Ventura installed on an M1 MacBook Air and an iMac Pro. Stage Manager does not appear on either when hovering to the left if an app is in Full Screen no matter what "Automatically hide and show…" is set to.
