I am trying to migrate my data from my old MBP to my iMac, and whenever I open Migration assistant, press continue and put in my password, it says "Logging out failed" and then shows the sign-in screen a few seconds later. This happens every time even after a restart.
MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 12.6
OK, never mind, it is not doing it on my iMac, but still on my MBP. I have restarted it several times now, still crashes :( Also, when I say crashes, it says Failed to sign out and then logs me out of my user. I even booted into safe mode and it STILL doesn't work. Please help soon.
Now it is doing this on both computers. I also am using a Thunderbolt cable
