AirPods Pro 2 Case battery drain

Hey everyone! I recently bought a pair of AP Pro 2, as soon i started using it i noticed a battery drain of the case, i got them replaced the first time at the store which sold me those. Now i have abrand new pair provided by the same store, however these ones have the same problem: as soon as the case charge goes below 50% the battery dies and both the widget and the pop-up animetion show only 1% battery remaining. Anyone has any suggestion on what to do?

To get started, if your AirPods are connected to an iPhone, are you currently updated to the latest iOS version and firmware version available for your iPhone and AirPods? If not, since updating can often bring the latest features and bug fixes, try updating your iPhone and test the issue again.

Update your iPhone or iPad wirelessly
1. Back up your device using iCloud or your computer.
2. Plug your device into power and connect to the internet with Wi-Fi.
3. Go to Settings > General, then tap Software Update.
4. If you see more than one software update option available, choose the one that you want to install.
5. Tap Install Now. If you see Download and Install instead, tap it to download the update, enter your passcode, then tap Install Now. If you don't know your passcode, learn what to do.

Find your AirPods firmware version
Firmware updates are delivered periodically while your AirPods are charging and in Bluetooth range of your iPhone, iPad, or Mac.

Because firmware updates are delivered automatically, you don't need to update your AirPods.

To use your iPhone or iPad to check that your AirPods are up to date, make sure that you have the latest version of iOS or iPadOS. Go to Settings > Bluetooth, then tap the Info button  next to the name of your AirPods. Scroll down to the About section to find the firmware version.

Latest firmware versions
* AirPods Pro (2nd generation): 5B58


If the issue persists after updating your devices, or if your iPhone and AirPods are up-to-date, try resetting your AirPods with the steps in this next link here: How to reset your AirPods and AirPods Pro - Apple Support
