My daughter logged out of messenger kids on her iPad by accident and now when we try to log back in it just keeps looping back to the same login page after entering the password as the parent.

I finally got this to work. I had to log my kid out from the parental controls on my phone.
I used to get messenger notifications in my FB messenger inbox. I clicked on one of those and it led me to click Parent Dashboard. Another way to get to the Parent Dashboard is by clicking on the three horizontal lines in the corner of your FB Messenger App > Settings > Visit Parent Dashboard. Once there, you can click on your child and you'll see an icon at the top that looks like a gear with the word "Controls" next to it. Click that, then look for "log out of devices." I had to log out of her iPad even though it was a new iPad, deleted the app and downloaded it again, she was still considered to be logged in. Once I did this, I went back to the messenger kids app and started over from the initial setup. It flowed right into her inbox! I hope this helps.
YAY!!!!!! That worked! I created a new Facebook account, then set it up as a parent and used that log in! Not sure why there is a glitch like that but it worked!

From here, I'd say contact act the Developer. You'll find the Developer's Contact Us info on the app's site of the App Store. Perhaps it is a bug that they are aware of, and have a fix for? Report back what they say.

Change the Password:
Note sure then. Try changing the password of your account, and then performing this once more.
add a new parent and have that parent authorize the login
It’s likely a problem with messenger kids but did you turn off and web restrictions that might block it from redirecting to the daughter’s profile?
I’m just now having this issue as well. Tried rebooting device, set it up as new, changed password, multiple deleting app and re installing. NO LUCK!! Anyone else have this issue still? I found a different forum for android users having the same problem but we’re able to fix it by downloading older version. I don’t know how to do that on an iPad??
Still nothing. Even restored iPad to factory settings and set it up as new. EVERY time I try to log in to messenger kids it loops me back to authorize device - manage kids account - authorize device …. Just keeps looping

I am having the same issue. Tried deleting the app, shutting down the ipad, changing FB password...what else can I do? My kid wants access to the Messenger Kids acct. Please help!

We’ve had the same problem here for months now. My kids downloaded an App called Lava to use until this mess is sorted. Hope they figure it out soon. Glad I’m not the only one. That login screen was driving me loopy. (Lol)
I am having the same issue. Tried so many times. Is there anyone that was able to get back into kids messenger? I log in then it takes me to their page. I click on her name, it literally goes back to log in. I thought I had wrong log in so I tried something else and it did tell me wrong password but still putting in the correct password and it makes me go in loops. Help!!
I had the same thing on both of my daughters iPads it did loops for about 20 times I just gave up because it was giving me a headache. My eldest daughter who uses messenger kids tried and now is so annoyed that she can’t talk to any of her friends and her friends said that it won’t let her send messages
