Face ID Issue on iOS 16.4.1

I've recently noticed that there is a major Face ID issue with the 16.4.1 update. It's not that it's slower but it sometimes doesn't work. Say when I'm accessing a locked Note, it would require Face ID but when I try to click View Note, Face ID animation doesn't appear and my Note wouldn't be unlocked. It also sometimes happens on other apps too, like Recently Deleted in Photos, or Passwords in Settings, even third-party apps that I've set to require Face ID to access are affected. I would have to restart to make it work again. Again, it doesn't happen very often but it's not a good thing for it happen at all! And it only started happening when I've updated to iOS 16.4.1, I'm using an iPhone 12 Pro Max. I wouldn't want a hard reset because it's my main phone and I don't have time to do that. Does this happen to anyone else?

You may check this.

Did you not get a prompt as shown in the pic below when you logged into the App?

See the pic below here where you can find out which apps have access to Face ID. If you do see this on your iPhone then you will have to go into the settings of the App (Not iPhone Settings). You may also delete the app and re-install it.

Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > Passcode Changes. If Don’t Allow, then you don’t see Face ID and Passcode after Siri & Search, but if you Allow, then you can access the Face ID settings.
