Extremely slow external SSD read and write speed after Ventura update

1, has anyone had this problem?

2, how easy is it to go back to Monterey as this laptop is critical for my work,

3, any possible solutions?

You may want to run DriveDx (trial period available) to check the health of the SSD and posting the report here using the "Additional Text" icon which looks like a piece of paper. To check the health of an external drive will require installing a special USB driver. I don't know how much health information a Kingston SSD will provide, but there is a chance it could provide a clue.

You may also want to run EtreCheck and post the report here so we can see if maybe you have some third party software installed which may be interfering with the normal operation of macOS.

Have you tried using another USB port especially (if a laptop, especially a port on the other side)?

Make sure to connect the SSD directly to the Mac and disconnect all other external devices in case one of them is causing a problem.
