My Airtel account is just not getting connected to the Apple Watch ultra. Tried many times. A message from Airtel says - we cannot process it right now. Try again later. Tried it many times since last night. The same message appears. Called Airtel customer care. They could not help. Can someone suggest what is to be done.

Airtel customer care told me that airtel prepaid doesnt have the compatibility and no update on by when it will. The only option is move to a different network provider or convert to postpaid

Is AirTel ONLY prepaid? Or do they offer monthly billing accounts? Is it possible you need to change your account type.

Because

Apple Watch - Carriers - Apple

does list AirTel India as supporting the Apple Watch.

And you might want to speak with someone else, just in case you go someone that was not being flexible in their thinking.

I was facing the same issue with Apple Watch SE with Airtel. I went to Airtel store and he just opened my number on his Portal and delinked the apple watch. Then i again went on settings in my iPhone and the setup cellular option came. It was 5 mins procedure.

And what might your preferred outcome be?

How will you get to that preferred outcome?

Posting here won't resolve this. We're not AirTel. We're also not Apple.

Else-planet, I've generally found company stores to be more responsive than resellers' stores. If you don't call.

But if AirTel customer support can't or won't help, switch carriers.

The diagnostic message from that image:

“Your AirTel account is not eligible to enable cellular on your Apple Watch. Contact AirTel for [further information?]”

I’d suggest contacting AirTel, and asking them about how to add your Apple Watch to your AirTel cellular plan.

Switch to a carrier that can provide better service and support. I’d expect an inability to provide the contracted service and support would probably be considered grounds to terminate any carrier contract in place too, but I’m not a lawyer.
