Unable to get iMessage Notifications on my iPhone 13 Pro Max

It’s the same for me. The one contact I frequently message, my settings for notifications are on immediate delivery and now for the last 4 days I haven’t been notified when the y text but every other contact that texts me I get an immediate notification. I tried muting and then unmuting the conversation but I’m still facing the same issue. Have you been able to find a solution yet?

i get the same thing except i don’t get ANY notifications from my contacts ive tried restarting my phone letting it die and charge it just won’t let any of my messages go through and give me a notification for the message i have a iphone 15 and it’s only been happenening for like a month now but it’s getting annoying missing out on these texts i even missed out on my nieces birthday party because i got the text but no notification for it at all i saw the text a week later and it was already too late anyone have this problem before?

note: i did already check my settings and notifications and i have show alerts on all contacts im just not getting notifications specifically from the messages app

Thank you for the detailed instructions. I’ve tried all of these suggestions with no success unfortunately. Badge counts are not showing for iMessage for any messages except if I iMessage myself…. I don’t message myself often it was just a test 👍

I just started having this issue like 2 days ago and finally came to the internet for help. I have an iPhone 15 and an iPad Pro 5th gen, for some reason my phone is starting to not receive messages from certain contacts but my iPad will receive them. What do i doooo?

Hi. Oddly enough my phone is doing the complete opposite to the original issue here but similar to some of the other problems.

I have an iPhone 15 pro and it appears that after one of the latest updates I’m getting notifications on iMessage only and nothing else. The only way I get notifications on WhatsApp, messenger, business messenger etc are to open the apps themselves. Then all the messages appear. If not I get no banner notifications or message indicator dots showing up.

Everything appears to be switched on on the phone and the apps themselves and I’ve not changed any settings.

My partner and I have the same issue. Neither of us receive imessage notifications from each other. This does not happen consistently. The conversation is not muted and imessage notifications are turned on. Quite often there are no notifications on my lock screen and then I look and there are unread imessages. We have investigated and tried ALL of the options proposed in this thread with NO SUCCESS! Apple PLEASE ADDRESS this!

I am on the same boat; I receive the messages but no notifications that messages have arrived. This applies to all my contacts despite messing with all the possible causes in the settings. Someone help

I started to not receive notifications from this certain person and all my notifications are on and it’s just this person I can’t receive any notifications that my phone is lock or not it’s not working at all no sounds no vibration. Can someone please tell me what wrong cause all my notifications settings are on.
