the iPad I bought in 2019 now has the black screen of death. I am so careful with it. It has never fallen or been dropped.

What I want to know…is there a fix for the black screen, or am I just screwed out of an iPad I bought three years ago? Because that doesn’t seem right! Especially for a product that cost what it does and a company who pride themselves on their products.

I did that. They told me it wasn’t a software issue and since I didn’t have apple care coverage, that it was going to cost around $800 to get a replacement. Very frustrating and angry.
I have the same issue, and have no solution even consult with Apple help. Wonder how many people have this issue
Same for me after an iOS update on iPad Pro. Got nowhere with Apple.
Brought it tech experts who tested everything & even tried replacing the screen for me but they came up empty handed & can’t figure it out & yes confirmed many others are experiencing similar issues. I’m out of pocket to the tune of €830 as it was a new replacement iPad , sent by an Apple authorised agent

No & I also took it to an Apple authorised tech team who could not figure out what is causing it to continually crash. It’s unusable
Same here on a replacement iPad Pro sent to me by Apple that did this after only just over 3 months
