Converting a file from HTML toPDF

A friend regularly sends me written work as HTML files. I can see them onscreen, but I can't print them out as formatted without converting them to some other file format, such as PDF. How do I do that such that the files retain all their formatting-page breaks, indents, font changes, type size, etc.?

Get a current copy of Firefox 113.0.2 (or later) installed. From Firefox File menu > Open File… and navigate to the HTML document. Once opened, click ⌘P to open the print panel. Click Destination and choose Save to PDF, then click Save.

You could screenshot the HTML script, click on the small picture of the taken screenshot and then hit the "full screen" on the top right. Then, the script will be saved as a whole as a picture, which you then could export as a PDF.

Another option would be to go into the Shortcuts app and go in the gallery, search for the Shortcut "Make PDF". While you are then in the HTML file, you can tap on the share button and run the Shortcut on it.

I hope this helps!
