Apple Watch Battery Life (Series 3)
My wife currently has an Apple Watch Series 3. She has owned this for about 1.5 years. The apple watch battery charge will last about half a day. Apple store technician checked the watch today and said Battery was at 93% capacity. They unpaired watch and reset, but this did not solve issue - battery still draining quickly. We've run through settings options (available online) unsuccessfully able to move the needle with battery life. Not sure how the apple watch could have 93% battery capacity yet not hold a charge.
This is my wife's second apple watch. She experienced pre-mature (early life) battery issues with her first watch.
Prior to apple watch, she owned several Fitbits. She experienced pre-mature battery failures with all of her Fitbits as well.
She has experienced this pattern of pre-mature battery failures in every fitness device she has owned. We fully recognize she may be causing these issues, but not sure what could be the behavior leading to batter issues. Just trying to see if anyone has experienced similar issues or if there is a known issue out there.
We can think of one potential cause. She teaches exercise classes and will build up a pretty good sweat. Doesn't make sense as watch/fitbits are water resistant.
Can anyone suggest any ways to troubleshoot this?
Thanks!
