Changing Multiple Titles from "Essential Title" to "Basic Title" only found in the "Edit" menu

I just placed 1200 titles onto a one hour 20 minute sound clip to make visual subtitles.

How do I change all 1200 titles at once to just a basic text title w/o effect?

Little did I realize the "Essential Title" I used has an ever so slight movement effect, and 1200 of them makes the project unrenderable due to memory, etc, and lot of other final cut excuses. How to I change all 1200 of these titles to no movement, no effect, no nothing "Basic" title, just text on a screen? Only way to get at a basic title card with no frills or effects appears to from the Edit > Connect Title > Basic Title menu. Please help.

I'm using a macbook air M2 16GB memory w/ 2TB hard drive. It's not a space problem, or old machine problem or lack of memory problem.

I looked at the videos Luis S, thanks - have done all mentioned in there. Same Error message -536870181 to export the whole project. I'm now exporting in 5 minute sections. And it takes about 45minutes per export. For the first 30 minutes there's 0% progress on the sharing wheel.

This is the first time apple has ever made its own microchip. Wonder if there's something there at play. Because this computer should be able to handle this stuff. And it's so clean, recent wipe clean and reinstalled whole system before installing final cut. Whatever's going on, hope apple fixes it, I finally like the final cut interface for the first time in 10 years.

No animations, set to "none" the default. Just out of the box essential basic but with Arial Narrow in 2 different sizes in each title. Could that "Retime In" / "Retime Out" <screenshot below> be creating the slightest effect and therefore holdup, or the timecode generator for the whole hour 20 mins? It's final cut 10.6.6 I'm on. fox_m mentioned above "If you are seeing the word "Title" after applying the Basic Title in place of "Essential Title", then usually what that means is that the Essential Title has more than one Text Object..."

I'm on about hour 20 exporting 5 mins at a time.

I'm kinda stumped. When I play around with Essential Title it's rock-solid, unmoving. I made sure it's settings are identical to your screenshot. My only thinking is double checking the Video Inspector for the text element and ensure there are no keyframes. I'm not sure what else could be causing the slight movement you're seeing; I'm unable to replicate it by just dropping in that text element.

You could highlight one (yellow highlight or just the "active" dot) and tap Control V and see if there are any keyframes visible in there.

Yes, but the OP could double click a remake to replace the selected titles as they would with Basic Title. [... which should be tried out on a duplicated segment of the project in another project first.] All I would be doing is checking for problems that might cause an animation to occur where there shouldn't be one (kind of like what happened with the Flashback Transition — BTW, did Apple ever fix that?)

It always did ... work... It came to my attention with this

Final Cut Pro Flashback transition broken? - Apple Community

There was a "stuttering effect" at the beginning and end of Flashback like this:

There was also black spaces that appeared at the beginning (and more than just the one frame you see here). I repaired the transition so that it looked more normal:

(Hard to tell what's "normal" with GIFs... :P)

At the same time there was another problem with the Color Panel Transition where the incoming (to the transition) clip in the storyline would shift left about 3 pixels at the start. (Pixel Shift within Transitions - Apple Community).

[Both of these "repairs" are available on my Downloads page (https://fcpxtemplates.com/downloads).]

Since I've been "stuck" in 10.4.10, I have no idea what their current states are. I still get people downloading the Censor effect that was broken awhile back even though I'm fairly sure Apple fixed that one (at least). [https://discussions.apple.com/thread/251745922]

There have been several default templates with these nearly unnoticeable errors in them along the way. However, for some people, the errors stick out like sore thumbs.

It wouldn't surprise me if there is some minor maladjustment or detail that was overlooked in Essential Title that could stand a little attention. However, at this point we've seemed to have lost the OP in this thread (so it probably doesn't matter anymore.)
