My iPhone 11 won’t start. At the local service provider I was told the mother board is damaged. I want to get it repaired but don’t want my data to be erased as most of it wasn’t backed up on iCloud. What options do I have?

Sorry, but I think you already know the answer here.

If you did not make a backup.....before.....the phone was repaired, you will have to start all over again from scratch and manually reload apps, etc on to the repaired phone.

But it’s a hardware issue not a software one. There is no way to get it repaired while still having my data preserved?

Backups must happen before the loss or theft or dunking or damage or failure.

What data you have in iCloud will be retained, as will iCloud Photos (if enabled), as will data copied elsewhere.

Locally-stored data lacking backups, not so much.

With no backups, we can only welcome you to the data-loss club that many of us already belong to.

There is no way to get it repaired without losing the data on the phone. This answer will not change, no matter how many other users might respond.

You have learned a painful lesson about the importance of backing up your phone at least once a week. Backups happen automatically every day if you enable Automatic Backups to iCloud, so you never have to worry about remembering to back up manually.
