Connecting hearing aids and Bluetooth headphones

I also have a hearing aid in my left ear. While listening to music outside with headphones, I want the sound to come from both my ears at the same time. But when I activate the device, the sound comes only from my left ear, if I connect the headset, only from the right side . How can I solve this problem?

I don’t think that is possible but you should check with your hearing aid technician to be sure. I know I can achieve what you describe when using one Apple AirPod in transparency mode. Perhaps you can ask if your hearing aid offers that mode? My husband’s hearing aids do not offer what you are suggesting. The difference is that he wears two aids. But I know that if he is listening to videos on his iPad thru his hearing aids, he will not be able to hear me talk. I have to tap him on the shoulder. Anyway … check with your hearing aid technician.
