iPhone 13 Pro Max White Screen

I just wanted to know was your phone covered under warranty during repair. I have my iPhone not under warranty now but don't know what to do. Please give me suggestions on how to you get it repaired for free

Well I was also having the same issue and my phone was out of warranty .I took my phone to the apple service centre and told my issue to them .Within 1 week they fixed my phone without any extra charge .

They only took1800 for diagnostic check at the beginning.

I am thankful to the iVenus service center in Andheri. They thoroughly examined my device and determined that there was no liquid damage or other issues caused by my activities. They escalated my problem to Apple, and I had my phone repaired with a new display at no cost, even though the warranty had expired.

I would like to mention Ms. DHANASHRI WAGHE, the executive who attended to my issue at the service center. According to the service order, it was stated that it might take 10 working days to complete the repair. However, she supported me, promptly escalated the issue, and within 2 days, my device was repaired. I had the same issue. I first went to service center and they asked to do backup and then i went to the service centre they told they want to do some testing. And i have connect to support regarding this but the support person was so roude and not responding for my issue. Then again i connect with other support person then they helped me with service center and then the service person informed me that they have got me one time exception and i fix my phone with. My phone was out of warrentt

Today, randomly while using my 13 pro max screen started to flicker white screen. I restarted and screen stayed on white screen. Joining in to the que of Me too with this issue. From forums and trying force restarts, this is permanent. with no money to visit service center, I need to find a third party service center to fix the problem with display.

I got the same problem on 13 Pro. Just want to know whether the iphone display parts define as consumers parts right now.

The Apple advisor team asked me to wait everytime, the case was created since 2-Apr which over 3 weeks. The Apple become a sh it recently with poor management!

I got the same issue happen on 13 Pro. And contacted their support/advisor hotline which is wasted over 4 weeks of time to waiting for their so called in-charge advisor to follow up my case, everyone/everytime will spent your time to collected the case info at the 1st call phone conversation, then promised to reply/update about 4 working days. However, on 4 days later you will received a email said unable to reach you by phone (but your phone is no incoming call ringing & missed call record), asked to contact their hotline again to assign a next incharge to follow and open another case ticket. I repeated this loop over 5 times wasted over 1 month.

Unfortunately the Apple suddently change their biz behavier recently preiod they obviously give up the both product quality & premium user experience which is most critical advantage to support their products to offer premium price. However, once they are going to drop the brand value, that will be another epic story like the Korea's top tier brand LG mobile since 2016.

****Actually to prevent potential investment lose matter, Financial firm/Global Investor should alert on current situations of apple. Specifically Apple stock, which has already lost $380 billion of market value this year, they are going to downhill and will be incresing the annual drop in sales. (Information from Forbes 20240502)

Even I had faced the same issue that my iPhone 13 pro just went black and it was white screen and it was turning into dim and bright white.

But I had no idea what to do and my friend told me a place where I could repair it for lesser cost, than what Apple had told me which was around 35K and I had done it for 10K.

I bought iphone 13 pro max 2 years back and my warry also expired i got a white screen problem after updating ios 17 and i have approached to nearest authorised apple service they asked to 1/3 rd of new mobile cost . How can we pay such huge amount for just screen repair and it is not our fault it is an update glitch so please fix the problem or replace the mobile

I agree! I haven't even paid for the phone yet and there is no damage to the phone. All I did was update to their software and they are going to charge me for the repair, BAD BUSINESS! And then no effort to resolve the problem that has apparently been an issue for quite a while. Might be time to switch to an Android and I am going to tell everyone I know not to bother unless they want to throw money away.

Hi Sujith I also have the same problem in my iPhone 13 pro max (2 years) after update to 17.5 iOS the display fully turned white after one day. How did you finally fix the issue. I'm from Kerala Alappuzha and there are two service centre near me it's eranakulam and Kottayam... Do you think I can get a free fix if I go to one of them. It isn't even my fault. 😩

TLDR: Faced the same issue. Apple replaced my screen, waived the SGD457.00 replacement fee.

I've faced this exact white screen issue too. I bought my iPhone 13 Pro Max in Sept 2022. My screen started flickering/glitching recently (Sept 2024), I thought it was my eyesight problem lol. But realised it was the phone's problem because the screen flickered consistently throughout the day and went completely white all of a sudden.

I tried the volume up and down + side button reboot method, but the screen stayed white. This whole ordeal happened after my phone automatically ran the iOS update the night before. I thought the update caused this problem. Brought it to Apple Store and after running some diagnostics, they told me it was a screen defect issue.

Since my phone warranty expired awhile ago, I gasped 😱 quite a bit when they showed me the screen replacement cost hahaha. So they decided to waive the replacement cost for me after confirming there were no physical defects and hardware/software modifications on my part. They did inform me there might be possible data lost after screen replacement.

Btw phone is good as new now. And thankfully no data lost after the fix.

My iPhone 13 Pro Max sees same white screen issue, & I've been at the receiving end of where their logic goes into ****. After 4 days of waiting, fellow names "Prince" says that snippet taken from device appears to have tempered glass & we are seeing tempered glass cracks, pls explain why there are cracks? Underneath tempered glass there is nothing - no damage not a scratch & somehow photo shared from service center was with tempered glass - i should have removed tempered glass before taking photos.

What his arguments is you have cracked tempered glass means we can't process as this are signs that your must be fallen - a wild story - it's like hitting your head to walls for such fellows.

Tempered glass can be of low quality, or in bags while travelling it must have pressed by other stuffs, at airports we used to put phone under tray & while clearing security they can put something on it or let's while driving some other phone is on top iphone & due to pathholes/bumps that sudden impact can put stress on it. Basically without knowing the condition of phone - even not knowing that there is no physical damage after removing tempered glass, they just dont understand at all.

Happened to me 2 days ago. Warranty expired when the phone went white. Had to send to a third party phone shop. The shop mentioned its a common issue with 13 series. Apple could have recalled or compensated or recalled users of these series going white/green screen.

I was facing the same issue and was asked 33k for the same. However, I was informed that it was being replaced for free in Delhi store for some customers, not sure why is this service being provided as a privilege to only a few. Apple actually needs to register this as a manufacture issue, so u was told, to get a free service and change of display.
