unable to view movie purchased on apple tv

I purchased the new Across the spider verse movie on my Apple TV via the store - started watching it had to stop it - came back and now reporting content unavailable? It’s in my purchased section in my library on my Apple TV and on my phone and I get the error on both. It’s a bummer dropping 20$ for digital content that isn’t even downloaded locally on my device?? Side note it says my phone is an iphone6s haha it is a iPhone 13 Max Pro - most recent OS - my Apple TV is a 3rd gen 4k
