Hi,

I wanted to reply to an older thread because I tested something and found a solution, but my profile doesn't give me a list of threads I authored or participated in. Is this an error on my side or just a service not given of this site?

a look after posting this shows that this is my only post of "all times".

thanks.

Apple calls you forum activity "Subscriptions" for some reason and you can access yours by clicking you avatar in the upper right of a forum page:

If I look at your Subscriptions (<-- click) and set the filter to "Authored," I see this:

I wanted to reply to an older thread...

Really old threads are locked against future contributions and have this banner:

Viewing a Web Site's Source HTML Code in Plain Text:

Another User Tip I have authored is to how to create a bookmark in the Bookmarks menu to view the HTML Code of any open Website you have in Courier New plain text. All the text is black, and it shows up as if you were to author a Website using plain text. See Here: How to: View a Web Page's HTML Code in Plain Text (Courier New) - User Tip

It's a unique tool, for authoring Websites, and viewing what is blocked by ads. Try it out, and see what you think:

disagreed, answers do not become outdated in less than a year. I have pulled the initial trick about the cmd-F1 toggle to make the presentation screen black from a thread that was several years old. These Exposé options that went awry are going to survive for many more years, and they have been there since how long, Mountain Lion?

High-level people take time to provide thorough answers and it's not useful to delete them after half a year and wait until someone asks again and they write the whole blob all over again (or they don't, at some point). That's a disregard of specialists' time.

The amount of users and similar questions and not-so-useful answers is exactly the reason why relying on search is inefficient. But I accept that Apple redesigned the page so one cannot find older things any more, as one was able to. So thanks for answering.

Sorry for a delayed reply --updated my Mac.

You are welcome.

No. You really can't because there are images, headers, and layers in-between. If I ever found a method, I'd post it as its own user tip. If you were to select it all, it could come up with something like this: " User profile for user: TheLittles TheLittles TheLittles User level: Level 10"
