iOS 17 stand-by clock only CUP?

Thank you very much. IT WORKS!!!!! It was kindda confusing to find how to edit the screen saver, but it was the silver bullet. Erased and added back!!! Listo. Really, I don't understand why Apple do so many crocked, things, like last year to synchronize my telephone in my own computer for a backup, it prompts the password-PIN even though is a "trusted device". I only kind think that the reason for that is to obligate us to do only icloud backups that cost more money due to required storage space. Apple is not so customer focused after all.....

I did that. I used one with no indication of clock and it still didn’t work. I can find no clue directions on how to make the standby clock and or calendar be what I would like it to be. It started out as a clock in calendar now it’s only a calendar if I get a Clock it’s only a clock.

Imagine rolling out “an exciting new feature” that can’t seem to read the current time zone my iPhone is set to. What a complete joke. Apple software is as buggy as any vendor out there and they keep adding silly features that don’t work. Premium experience my foot (not my first choice of words)

Have to agree so much for user friendly. Actually causes confusion unless happen to be on Pacific Time. Cupertino says it all. Seems narcissistic. Plus why all the contortions to change. I did search in Settings for clock. Nothing relevant. Should be changeable from Settings. Have been a computer programmer 40 years. Among my top 100 stupid useability “features”.

This worked for me, too, though I needed to tap just a little off-center for it to work. Then I needed to figure out where to tap after I'd changed the city, because there was no done/save/exit button; somewhere on the field around it worked.

Yes, it does but you can change the Standby Clock to Amsterdam.

That didn’t work. The clock in standby is in Cupertino time and I can’t change it

This is true, but your clock stays on the local time of whatever city you have chosen, even when you take your phone to another timezone. The vast majority of users do not want this.
