Loaded iOS 17 but when I go to my Contact details, although Contact Posters is shown as an option, it also says "Disabled".
Most of the online solutions say go via the Contacts Poster option to Contact Poster settings - this is not possible when it is Disabled.
Any help please?

The most likely reason why your Contact Poster is disabled is because you have disabled Name & Photo Sharing. This setting controls whether your name and photo are shared with other people when you call them.
To check this setting, go to the Phone app and tap Edit in the top-left corner. Then, tap on your name card. Under Contact Photo & Poster, make sure that the toggle for Name & Photo Sharing is enabled.
If the toggle is already enabled, then the problem may be something else. Here are a few other things you can try:
Note: Even if you enable Name & Photo Sharing, the other person will still need to have iOS 17 installed in order to see your Contact Poster.
My poster is working. But when some people call me their poster stays on and bright while on the call others fade into the background. What is going on? And before you say that I have saved it I checked. The card and poster are different images. How do I make my poster stay bright on the call screen.
Everyone is giving answers for “my contact “ photo. My question is for my other people in my contacts. Everyone I had a poster picture for in my contacts that poster picture is no longer available just the icon picture. How do I put all my poster pictures back for the other people in my contacts??
Apple, same issue here.
Can't share my poster because I have 2 phone numbers on 2 separate phones with same Apple ID.
But why can't we use a Personal and a Business number with same Apple ID?
It's so useful to have all iMessages in sync and picture gallery as well.
Please fix, I am spending so much money in iPhones and Apple products and I can't show my contact pic because of that.

Tried this, but it still says mine is disabled.
I tried this workaround and it seems to have worked to get me to create a poster. Not sure when I call people it will show up or not, but for now it seems to be working. Thanks
