Notifications not working after iOS 17 Update

I was having the same problem with my iPhone 14 Pro, and despite trying each and every single suggestion from people on this site, nothing worked. I spent many hours on the phone with Apple and nothing that they suggested worked either.

I finally bit the bullet and went to the T-Mobile store and upgraded to the iPhone 15 Pro, and lo and behold everything works. Obviously since people with a wide variety of iPhone models are having this problem, it is not inherent to the hardware.

In my opinion there is some connection to the software and older iPhone models. I know that none of this helps people solve the problem, but if you are looking to switch to an Android, perhaps upgrading to a different iPhone model would help you. By the way, you will be able to keep your phone number. Good luck!

Every time there is an update Apple is ridiculous lately

After updating iOS 17, I am not getting a notification sound. This isn't very pleasant. I am missing lots of WhatsApp messages. Any solution?

I’ve tried changing everything for WhatsApp notifications and still no sound. Really annoying. Any ideas?

On iphone 11 pro same thing:no sound or vibration until is checked banners or centre notification,but there is no privacy that way

I have 12promax and no notifications on Apple Watch and no notifications on iphone and if and when it decides to send notification to phone the sound is so quiet I can’t hear it

Getting no alerts on my texts when phone is locked. No duck alert as well I noticed. Anyway of fixing this?

notifications do not sound over locked phone. They do when the Home Screen is on

Mine is giving different notifications sound and the option to customize the notifications sound is disabled!

Same here.. None of my purchased text tones are downloading or working on my iPhone 12 Pro after IOS 17. I purchased 4 new tones and they still do not show up on my phone.
