The iPhone autocorrect keeps adding extra letters when I text

The auto correct is very frustrating. When I type some thing it adds letters to it which I assume I’m supposed to automatically insert but it adds additional letters which I then have to go back and delete. I don’t like my text second-guessing what I’m trying to write.

Autocorrect removing auto capitalization My iPhone 15 Pro Max will work fine after about 12 days or so, then the keyboard's auto correct will suddenly autocorrect the first word of my new text or message to lower case. I have Auto Capitalization turned on. I have tried to reset the keyboard dictionary with no help. Slide to text works just fine. Deleting the word and retyping does not duplicate the issue. The only way I have found to "fix" the issue is a full reset, but the issue occurred again about 12 days later. This does not happen on iPhone 15 Plus.

Autocorrection doesn’t work on iPhone 14 Pro I notice for words containing an apostrophe like “can’t” the autocorrection does not recognize it. Instead it types it as “cant” and the correct one with apostrophe (can’t) shows up under the second suggested word instead of the first. Also I notice that occasionally auto capitalization for words like I does not work sometimes. I tried toggling on/off these two in the settings. The issue fixes for literally one minute before reverting back to being inconsistent/not working at all

How to remove auto-correction from iPhone? I dont know why but whenever I type on my iPhone it is soo hard to get a message or paragraph spelled correctly . I don't want to have to use spell check or keep erasing the words to respell !! Its sooo annoying ! I know what I am trying to write and i know how to spell but almost every word I type its wrong .. so instead of it being typed in 10 secs it doesn’t get done for like 2 minutes because I have to keep erasing and retyping it correctly !!! ??? Are we reaping the benefits of AI? Phone often corrects incorrectly spelled words to complete gibberish with weird spaces and special characters. Not weirdo.
