Since upgrading my Ultra (first gen) to watchOS 10, the Compass app has been non-functional. It cannot find the lat/long. I cannot save waypoints. It has no idea where it is.
I've tried repairing the Watch twice and once I set the device up as a new Watch. Still no joy.
Is anyone else having troubles with Compass on watchOS 10 on an Ultra?

Had the same issue. Solved by reset the location and privacy on iPhone. Go to settings -> general -> transfer or reset iPhone -> reset -> reset location & privacy. After reset, reopen the compass app on watch and grant location permission.
Hi got the same issue tried all the settings as it says in other posts but no change just get compass red circle going round is apple going to sort out a fix for this compass works fine on phone
The reported fix did not resolve the issue for me.
Also have the same issue and my step count and raise to wake function is not working after updating to 10.1.1
