iOS 17 gray call screen

I'm sure that I am not the only one. After the IOS 17 update was shocked to see that horrible gray call screen. Who in the technical department decided that was a good idea? and also moving all the buttons to the bottom of the screen. Certainly is vey ugly as far a I'm concerned. I know there's no fix for it here, just getting it of my chest.

As I said the call screen has always been black, incoming or outgoing calls. Now with IOS 17 the call screen is an ugly gray color, with all the buttons that used to be in the middle now moved to the bottom. I'm not even sure if apple now why? I put in a request to apple support and was booked for a midday callback, that was 3 days ago.

Hello~ The gray screen did not just happen with iOS 17.3.1. The part of these 19 pages of this thread that I don’t get is in the grand scheme of things…who really cares?? Talk about bizarre. SMH….

It both important and yet not. For some long time users they want minimal changes. For users like me where the aesthetics is both important and unimportant at the same time. Its a matter of accessibility for some. Due to my poor vision, the lack of contrast makes reading the caller ID all the harder to read. Plus from the lack of dexterity in my hands as well as in others, the placement of certain buttons like the end call button its difficult NOT to hit it when switching between apps especially you have a phone without the home button. I'm just getting acclimated to the swiping as I always had a phone with a home button. The swiping spot is very close to the end call button. One small move and the call is ended whether it's intentional or not.
