VIP mailbox is broken
After upgrading to 17 my inbox has found its way into my VIP folder. If I look on the folder in menu bar, Inbox is greyed out so I can’t move them out that way, but if I drag and drop them back into my inbox, they don’t stay in VIP.
This is a problem - I use my VIP folder to ensure I see messages that are important, and can miss important stuff that is happening daily.

It’s saying I have 16k emails now and I don’t know from where! F iOS17. 😝

Updated to 17.1, it didn’t fix the VIP mailbox problem
Same. I updated today and it’s still messed up. I don’t think they realize how many emails we get! 😂
APPLE !!! please read these forums and fix … I now have 92,000 emails in my VIP folder … OMG !!! … I’ve tried what’s been posted … so frustrated !!! iPhone 15 Max Pro and newest software.
Thanks. Just did that and it seems to have helped. I wasn’t getting notifications for VIP either, just tested that and it’s working again 👍
