AirPods not connecting to iPhone after updating to iOS 17

has anyone found a solution to this? Stopped working after updating to ios17.3. AirPods are fully charged, have tried restarting, turning Bluetooth on and off, but case is not showing on devices. So annoying !!!

I have the same experience. I had trouble connecting my AirPods after the iOS 17.0 update. My AirPods battery was wonky for a time and kept reflecting different percentages despite being charged for a long time then once it finally reconnected to my iPad, only the Right AirPod connected. It cannot detect my left AirPod. Everything was fine before the update. Is Apple doing anything about this?

This is also my experience. I've a pair of pro & regular airpods, I've done no modifications to either (wouldn't know how). My pro airbuds, no longer work with a 17.4.1 upgrade. They connect for a few seconds, then disconnect. Makes no difference if there is sound going through it or not.

My regular old airpods, still operate as normal.

I've also tried all the attempts I can find about re-pairing, attempted multiple times in multiple ways over the last few days, no difference.

Same here. As soon as the update was completed and I finished charging my first gen airbuds, they will not connect, restarted phone, went through Bluetooth, nothing. Come on Apple, patch this error the update caused.

I’m still having connection problems with my 15 pro and AirPod pros, I’m on ios17.4.1, you never know when they’re going to connect during phone calls and drop out during calls if connected, very frustrating, I never had any problems with my previous 14 pro and the same AirPods Pros and standard ones. Is there a known fix?

To add to the debate, my AirPods Pro often disconnect the microphone so Siri/voice commands don’t work. Unhelpful for a hands free option, workaround is to turn off Bluetooth and turn it on a second later - not helpful with hands full. All software is up to date and maybe the September upgrade will fix it.

Umm is there any thing that has shown or was there any experiences with the AirPods Max with this update? That is within a month of mine being flatlined for a week and Apple telling me to send them in because they were unable to produce any real solution other than, “well you should go ahead and do a factory restart, hold the noise control down and….” \ “Ah you mean just do a regular reset” \ “no, a factory reset” \ ..”ouh 👉👈 that is not the correct, factory is both buttons, and yes I did the holding of the <two> buttons down before a was going to seek a solution here.. anything else you can think of?.” \ “well you can buy a new set or send them in” 👏✍️👨‍💻

Hey Apple. I should add… the AirPods are experiencing similar issues with both of my Apple TV 4K devices after their update to tvOS 17.

I an also having this problem with 13 mini and airpods pro v2. Hope they fox soon since calls and listening to music has become very hard

Okay update…. After having installed the latest firmware on my AirPods….. left works perfectly right only works when left is in ear…. Find my won’t see the devices 😒 I hope they fix it asap

I'm currently using wired headphones just so I can keep listening to a book without it constantly pausing seeming at random.
