iPhone Touch Screen not working - iOS 17

I recently updated my iPhone 14 Pro Max to IOS 17 and everything has been working really well. I woke up this morning and my iPhone's touch screen was unresponsive and won't let me unlock my phone. I found a way to restart my phone by clicking the top volume button, then the bottom volume button, and then holding the lock button, however that did not fix the issue. I work primarily off of my phone so I need to get this fixed ASAP. Any tips?

After latest iOS 17 update, my iPhone 13 touchscreen is completely unresponsive - It won’t even let me restart or shut down. Major crisis! Hey, Apple: Please help us fix this problem soon!

If you have a Mac I would highly suggest to download the Apple Configurator to use the revive fonction. I had the same issue yesterday and that was the only thing that worked for me. Good luck!

Has anyone found a solution to this, other than; do what you’ve already done , or plug it into your Mac. (I don’t have a Mac and I’ve restarted many times.)

Reset your device.

you have probably damaged your device and the wires and batteries and what ever they are stopped working.

you need a new device

Same last days with my 15. Touch completely "freezed". The only way was to reset to factory settings via itunes trough PC / cable. Now all ok.

having the same issue. Did think to check to connect to pc before I read here but I have to unlock the phone to “use accessory” and I don’t have Face ID 🤦🏼‍♀️ any ideas ?

I have diabetes and I feel for you as it’s a life line. Keep doing the hard reset as others have described and eventually it will work. It took me about 10 try’s hope this helps.

This same thing happened to me and I had to go to the Apple store to get help. They factory reset my phone and then the touchscreen started working again.
