iPhone 15 Pro won't vibrate on Silent Mode

I had this same issue, but with my iPhone 15 Pro Max. After speaking to Apple Support, they suggested that I call my service provider (AT&T) to change the number of rings my line receives before it sends a call to voicemail. I got this phone literally three days ago and have been having this issue since then. I followed their suggestion and called my service provider, who ended up telling me that there was an issue between my Apple Watch (cellular & wifi) and my new phone. There was an issue between my cellular plan for my Apple Watch and my 15 pro max. So maybe this is someone else's issue too? Try seeing if your Apple Watch is the issue. Only sharing my story to see if it helps anyone.

Hello everybody go to *settings *accessibility * touch and turn the vibration switch on . This fixed my problem 100%

After I did the first thing I said and changed that setting, I did this for my messages.

Settings > Messages > Notifications > Sounds > Haptics

Then I chose which one I wanted to vibrate. Works for me when I have it on silent, but I do have an iPhone 15 Plus not the Pro model. So maybe the Pro is different?

I just got the iphone 15 pro today, have had same issues. I updated to newest IOS 17.0.3, Ive restarted a million times, checked all the settings listed above as well as more I Googled, the only thing that will allow the vibrate is having 1 of the 3 banners turned on as others above mentioned (THANK YOU!) Not that I want this on but its better than nothing until Apple fixes this! Sorry but for this price thing should be flawless!

I had the same problem and was going crazy. I went through every comment and tried everything. No avail. Then I randomly looked at the settings on my messages with my girlfriend only to find out I had accidentally pressed “hide alerts”. Turned it off and now I get all of her messages!

I did a hard reset and it started working. Don’t just shut down phone but a hard reset

FIXED!!!

Settings -> Messages -> Notifications -> Sounds -> Haptics -> Select Vibration of Choice

After a few hours of haptic settings and apple support calls i fully setting up my ultra 2 watch and 15 pro max I disconnected the Bluetooth from the watch and now receive sound, haptic and notifications from both my phone and watch. When the phone and watch are paired you will not receive notifications when the phone is locked. Even with this done my watch function the same as it did while connected via bluetooth. With that being said what is the benefit/ drawback of the 2 being connected via Bluetooth

Settings - sounds and haptics - choose always play - scroll down and as an example.. choose TEXT TONE - choose Haptic at the top - from here you can choose your haptic or create a custom haptic. You can do this for any alert listed. This is the only way I found to get a strong vibrate

Dang. A hard reset fixed my vibration error. Try ask Siri “restart my iPhone”

Oh. Sorry. A hard reset fixed my 15 pro.

settings > messages > notifications > sounds > haptics … choose the haptic vibration you want

Then go back to settings > sounds & haptics > haptics and click you want to always play or play in silent mode. That should fix it
