yes it's not to sexy of a ? but would really like to know if anyone else is having that issue or is just me i'm kinda tech illiterate but can find my way around-- after update to ios17 my screen colors r washed out it starts bout halfway down screen to the bottom mostly the reds washed making it look pink where red used to b. any help would b appreciated as i really don't like looking at pink at all. thx in advance.

Accessibility>Display & Text size>reduce white point
I set my "reduce whitepoint" to 80%, you can also turn on "increase contrast"
hope apple fixes this because this is only an alternative as it affects the whole screen and everything on it (ie apps, camera, and games)

To me if color filters weren’t the fix.
1- Try disabling “true tone” and the “night shift” settings to see if this wouldn’t fix it.

2- It sounds like the LED screens backlighting is starting to burn out. Or the LED cable internally is not properly seated (assuming it was ever dropped).
Look up pictures of a dimming back light on a device that you know has a working screen and compare. If that is the issue you are looking at a repair shop visit.

Not sure if this is the issue but check if increase contrast option is turned on in settings > accessibility> display and text.
This was the issue for me but what yours seem to be bit different case but you can have a look.
Did you enable Color Filters? If so, disable the Color Filters in Settings -> Accessibility -> Display & Text Size -> Color Filters and turn off the switch.
No that’s not the issue I also checked that It’s like something magnetic was laying by it or something. U ever had a monitor do that when sitting to close to a power source it’s looks just like that the entire screen isn’t affected it starts half way down and gets worse as u go down It’s a gradual increase
Has anyone solved this issue. When I open a search engine ie google everything is washed out.
This regarding the washed out screen display. I tried all the recommendations no change. Also this is only when I use google on safari. Using google on edge there is no problem. Ideas?

Homescreen wallpaper washed out colors compared to Lock Screen wallpaper colors which remain vibrant. Been like this since ios17. Any ideas? Thanks
