Hi.
Just updated my MacBook Pro M1 Pro from Monterey 12.6.8 to 12.7.
Either booting into Mac Os or Recovery Mode I can see the white Apple logo for a few seconds and then just a black screen.
Any idea?

Had the same on iMac m1. But waited patient while the screen stayed petrifyingly black, and in the end it started.
I don't like this non descriptive black screens, and inconsistent user experience. Steve Jobs r.i.p. would never have accepted this behaviour of any Mac.
Nov. 9 2023: Apple claims Mac OS 13.6.2 fixes this issues. I welcome it but strangely I got it both with 13.6.1 and 12.7.0.
Sincerely I don’t know but keeping screen’s refresh into Promotion mode and install 13.6.2 or 14.1.1 should be safe.
