Any idea where you can see your weekly step totally in OS 10?
Updated my watch and now I can’t see my weekly total steps - just weekly total calories burnt
Apple Watch SE, watchOS 10
Apple Intelligence is now available on iPhone, iPad, and Mac!

As part of my weekly training programme , I am required to complete a minimum 10000 steps a weeks and report them to my coach, where as on the previous iwatch OS I was able to see my previous week's steps. I now can't and the only way is going into the App on my phone and adding each day
This is a major inconvenience and feel it is an ill thought out decision made by Apple. There are MANY trining programmes that require doing a set number of steps and now we cannot see them. This needs addressing in the next release so that when scrolling through the weekly metrics, it includes steps. This is very disappointing.
I am hoping if Apple customers want to see weekly steps, they will bring it back.
why would we download another app when I can buy a different brand of watch to get options I want.
Agree—Apple, please bring back the weekly step total!
The idea that I can no longer track my weekly number of steps bothers me. Apple, please fix this.
Apple please bring this back. It’s the primary reason I have the watch
Because they want you to pay $4.99 a month for the app the counts your steps, complete rip off
Thankfully there are multiple alternatives on the market, and I will be moving away from Apple watch. What a bummer for everyone who loved this feature.
Prior to the most recent update, you could easily view your weekly total steps.
I would like the old version of my apple watch back. This new one is terrible. No reason why we can’t see weekly summary of steps on the watch.
It's a shame, the old Watch iOS told us right there what your weekly miles are, now that is gone.
It is very annoying we can’t c ow weekly steps. When is this going to be addressed.
I used the total steps total all the time on my Apple 06. Bring it back! The little chart on the watch is useless!!

That’s really odd, I can’t see a September challenge on the fitness app on my phone either, it only goes up to August.
I don't see my September challenge but that's because I was a complete sloth this month. I had to complete a certain number of miles per day for a certain number of days. Once it became apparent, based on the math, that it was no longer possible for me to achieve the goal (there were not enough days left in the month), the challenge disappeared. It was a bit humiliating, actually.

Can’t find my total steps for the week on my Apple Watch after 10.0.1 software update?
That is correct. It was removed. You will need to use a third-party app to see your weekly step total.

Why would any runner want to track number of miles walked/run over the course of the week?
Why wouldn't they? My experience in training for marathons and half-marathons is that most runners are data geeks. We keep track of number of miles, pace, heartrate, weather, miles we put on shoes.
I never remember that as an option in Health or Fitness/Activity. The reason I'm pretty sure about this is because I've answered questions about it before. Health will show you daily averages under the Week/Month/Year tabs.
If you want to track running, I would recommend using software dedicated to that rather than to general fitness metrics. I was always a big fan of Runkeeper.
