Any idea where you can see your weekly step totally in OS 10?

Updated my watch and now I can’t see my weekly total steps - just weekly total calories burnt

Apple Watch SE, watchOS 10

As part of my weekly training programme , I am required to complete a minimum 10000 steps a weeks and report them to my coach, where as on the previous iwatch OS I was able to see my previous week's steps. I now can't and the only way is going into the App on my phone and adding each day

This is a major inconvenience and feel it is an ill thought out decision made by Apple. There are MANY trining programmes that require doing a set number of steps and now we cannot see them. This needs addressing in the next release so that when scrolling through the weekly metrics, it includes steps. This is very disappointing.

It’s horrible. It’s also cut my battery life in half as I have always listened to Spotify during my walking and running. I used to be able to go an hour and 40 min and still have power. Now it dies completely within an hour and I lose any steps after that.

I posted in the product feedback forum. Hopefully if enough of us do, maybe they can fix

Good info thanks! I downloaded the steps app. It imported all info from the Apple Watch. Very pleased with it so far. The rapid drain of the battery on this new iOS is the biggest issue I have now. Hopefully they can fix

I haven't seen any rapid battery drain. You may have an app on your phone that wasn't properly updated. Go to Settings>Battery and see what's using all the power.

I have always used Spotify and ear. Buds during my walk. I walk about an hour and 40 minutes per day. Until the iOS update, I still had plenty of power when I got back. Now, the watch completely dies in less than an hour every time.

I went to the battery check like you said, but it only shows me what is using battery power on my iPhone, not my watch. Am I maybe looking in the wrong place?

I'm sorry! Not enough coffee yet and moving between too many forums.

Do you have the Moby Face app installed on your Watch? If so, get rid of it. Also, try un-pairing and re-pairing.

I rely on the weekly step count too, so I tried a few (free) apps--Pacer, Pedometer++ and Stepsapp. Of the 3, Stepsapp was easily the best. Its daily totals always agree with what I saw on my watch and iPhone, and it was easy to set up their weekly total view exactly the way I wanted it (Mon-Sun). It solved my problem. Neither of the other two apps even came close.

The Apple Watch upgrade, downgrades distance data including weekly steps, mileage and flights. Move[ment] is now expressed in calories, as if your car showed gallons/kw used to express weekly distance. It is also not to be found in the phone/ipad health app. There, distance, steps are expressed only in averages. Back to paper and pen to record daily. Our Docs. Loved the information, especially now that we are in our 80’s. So, we’ll just do it by hand. Good for the mind.

I can't believe that Apple doesn't realize that the WHOLE WORLD tracks their steps and removed this feature from the recent update. One of the the decisions to buy the watch was based on the ability to track my steps. I use the steps to be sure that I have walked enough in the mornings and make adjustments to the distance as I go.

APPLE PLEASE PUT STEPS TRACKING BACK ON THE WATCH because WE CARE and WANT IT BACK!
