iPhone 15 - Freezing and Glitching Issue

This has happened quite a few times when trying to answer a call, it won’t read/feel my swipe, or it freezes when trying to read a text message. Very frustrating

Ok I want the iPhone 15 plus in pink and I’m going to be buying it in February but now I’m rethinking because of what everyone is saying

screen temporarily freeze’s especially while geting an incoming call . I cannot answer the call untill it is disconnected.

Moved from iPhone 12 Pro to 15 plus. Seeing lots of freezing and glitches especially in the call screen buttons. Have to close the screen completely and start over again.

Yes!I have the 14 . When this is paid off I will be going back to the Google Pixel. They are amazing. Don’t know why I switched lol

I have an iPhone 15 purchased December and it freezes I think it’s worse than when I got it. It’s very annoying for a $1500 phone. Anyone have the answers? It also gets very hot on charging.

I have the 15 plus and am experiencing identical problems. Im too much of a coward to see if it’s better without a screen protector.

I was having this happen occassionally and I am trying to use the phone without a case because I noticed the plastic frame of the case was overlapping the screen. I will try this for a week and see if it stops freezing.

I have another comment on this thread, but sharing the exact method I used to get me out of the glitch (lasts over 30 min now). The normal power off method didn’t work for me, so this is what I needed to do instead.

1) Volume up then down

2) then hold lock

ofc we shouldn’t have to do this… but this is what worked for me when I almost threw my phone directly out of the window 🙂

I'm having the same problem. I even tried to close all my apps to see if I was using too many apps at the same time but even though nothing was working. For some reason sometimes just Siri works so I can ask to restart the phone and the problem is gone but eventually happens again. I have this device for less than a week and it already happened so many times in such important moments that I'm considering to send it back. My device is the 15 pro Max 1TB I don't know if have some issue with that but i don't think so. I hope they fix it as soon as possible

Same here. Usually when coming from the unlock screen the display freezes and the power and volume up and down buttons stop responding. The screen transitions get stuck and glitch over each other. The screen stay unresponsive to most inputs but when it does respond. It glitches over a previous screen glitch.

very annoying I spent a lot of money. I hope they fix this.

just got the iPhone 15 pro and it is complete trash. It keeps freezing and the screen goes completely black when in apps like instagram where sound continues to play and no hard restarts work. They also changed all our tones! WTH?!? Are you gonna fix this apple? I don’t want you to control the volume of my iPhone either! You aren’t my mom. Anyone else having issues?

I’m having the same issue. I have the iPhone 15 Pro Max 516 GB that I just recently got. It’s less than a week old and I have seen a substantial number of glitches I have never dealt with on my previous iPhone 13 Pro 256GB. The phone overheats, lags, and becomes unresponsive with the most innate tasks. I’ve experienced this problem on Instagram, Safari, Reminders, Outlook, and Amazon. All apps are up to date and iOS version is 17.0.3 at the time of writing this.

I’ll be honest, I’m getting really annoyed and have been a long time Apple user so I’m well aware of the potential of it being a software bug, but this is ridiculous. Are there any answers aside from restarting the phone, which I have already done four times? Any help is appreciated!
