iPhone 15 - Freezing and Glitching Issue

Bought iPhone 15 pro around 1 week back started using yesterday. The phone auto upgraded to iOS 17.0.3. Now continuously restarting randomly. Sometimes very difficult to use simple apps like WhatsApp, chrome. I’m regretting now upgrading to latest iPhone. Apple quality really going down the drain recently. Didn’t expect this from iPhone

This is actually dumb. I've had the same iPhone for a couple of years, and my dad decided to get us a new phone. This phone has been LEGIT TRASH since I've got it. Service barely exists where I normally would have no trouble, the glitch lasts for about 30 minutes (despite the forced reset I attempt to do), randomly hanging up on people, overheating the moment I plug it in etc.

This forced reset does NOT work for this glitch. The glitch legit needs to finish first, then I can reset my phone.

I hate this....

I’ve been having the exact same issue. I’ve had every iPhone and this is really out of the ordinary and extremely frustrating. Particularly for a $1,300 phone. And no, Apple, a standard response to reboot the phone won’t do it. Roll out software that works. This launch has been awful. I hope this gets rectified within days.

Same here. Usually when coming from the unlock screen the display freezes and the power and volume up and down buttons stop responding. The screen transitions get stuck and glitch over each other. The screen stay unresponsive to most inputs but when it does respond. It glitches over a previous screen glitch.

very annoying I spent a lot of money. I hope they fix this.

just experienced this on my phone that i’ve had for a little under 2 weeks. it froze for nearly 1 hour with all apps opening to white screens, even the hard restart didn’t register. had to lock, ask siri to turn off my phone & legit hit the turn off button like 10 times before the screen registered.

Experiencing the exact same issues on my iphone 15. Often the corners dont work. If there is an x in the top right i have to hit it multiple times for the phone to register the touch. just today my phone completely froze and started to get warm. The up down power button did the trick but i hope this is resolved with a software update

I got the 15 pro max 1tb. So far.. I’m thoroughly unimpressed. Random lockups, freeze while web searching, constant Bluetooth disconnects, and initially extremely hot. Had I known all this, I believe I would have reconsidered. I have yet to realize any big tech advance.

I’ve only had my new iPhone for one day and My iPhone 15 Pro Max/iOS 17 is glitchy and every time I open a game apps to play it freezes and won’t go anywhere at all, each and every game app is freezing and glitching, plus I’m getting headaches and also getting nauseous with this device and it’s not ever happened before with any apple devices that I have used in the past, including the iPhone 14 PM, which I will have to get again if Apple doesn’t fix these issues ASAP!!! This phone is way to expensive to be this glitchy and too be causing headaches and nausea when there never was any before this iPhone! I’m sure there will be more issues with this phone as the days go on.

Add me to the list. On a call using the speaker option and the screen locked up. I could hear the caller but nothing from my side, voice, touch, buttons would work. After approximately 30 seconds I was able to use the buttons to pull up the shutdown screen. Took a hard restart to get it back up.

15 ProMax, 256GB TiBlue.

I have had intermittent app crashes but they stopped with 17.1.1.

Found this thread on google after looking up "iphone 15 pro max glitching" as I am having the same issues listed above, even after restarting the phone there is no response when tapping on things at the top of my screen (i.e "pinned" messages on imessage, apps, pull down menu, etc..). I hope whatever they have going on they can either recall or resend phones for free or like someone has mentioned, a free upgrade when the new one comes out this upcoming year... This phone is too new and expensive for things to be going wrong so soon, I just bought mine less than 2 weeks ago.

I did the same thing. I upgraded from the iPhone 11 to 15, and not at all happy. Freezes up a lot. Especially on games but it also happens on other apps. Shouldn’t have to keep resetting the phone. I’m waiting for the new update and if nothing changes, I’m calling Apple.

I have an issue with Maps freezing in the middle of trips. For whatever reason it’ll stop updating my location on the trip and then I won’t be able to exit or go to any other apps. Same thing will happen with iMessage

this is pretty ridiculous… my iPhone 11 which I moved up from had Zero issues

We have had similar issues with the Iphone 15. Lot of glitches with the phone, apps loading very slowly, dropped calls. I am going back to the 13pro. After IOS17 my husbands phone screen is frozen and resetting the phone doesnt make it go away!

Another Update:::: I just took this screen recording of my phone and I was checking the weather channel as you can see in the video all the distortion going on and what I’m dealing with with this iPhone… I also had an online doctors appointment and the appointment was only halfway completed when I got disconnected from the appointment, thats the first time that has ever happened!!

Apple should be able to provide repair and replacement for a device purchased anywhere, but Vodafone would be the one to refund your purchase if that was what you were seeking.
