iPhone 15 - Freezing and Glitching Issue

I am also having this issue I had the iPhone 13 pro max and loved it I upgraded to the 15 pro max it randomly hangs up in calls freezes and there is no way to do anything and just lags really bad I have apple support and they had me factory reset my phone didn't work they had me take it to best buy and get diagnostics done on it they said nothing is wrong with my phone this is not right for a 1300$ phone

Me too. New one week old iPhone 15 Pro Max (17.2.1)(512gb) with glitching, freezing, and touch screen problems. Instagram latest version freezing in many areas such as reels, uploading images, sharing, etc. Many apps, texts, reels and videos, etc glitching. Touch screen doesn't work in corners and on sides of phone. Often have to hit finger on screen numerous times for unit to function. Although I did need to upgrad from iPhone 7, I paid way too much for this fake altar of Apple technology. Such a bait/switch.

My iphone 15 Pro max has multiple issues 1. Hangs during calls. 2. Consistently doesn't show me the second caller. Some times doesnt respond to touch screen.

Have been a Iphone fan for over 16 years.

Sad to say the worst Iphone experience.

Other issues aside, critical functionality like calling never had hanging issues. My work is impacted.

Please help.

I've never had any of those issues, so it sounds like it could be your particular phone.

I would recommend you make an appointment to have it examined.

I have had these touch problems with the base 15 model too

especially when i tab at either ends of the island to scroll to the top. A lot of times it doesn't work no matter how hard i hit the screen and i have to close the app and reopen it

Hi All, I am new iphone user and I really didn’t expected this experience from Apple. I recently bought iPhone 15 and I am facing screen hanging and messed up UI issues very frequently. I have already updated all the apps and my iOS also latest 17.3.

sometime I just had to close the app and relaunch. The issue occurs mostly when I am playing a visor and I rotate the screen or I lock and unlock the device while the video is being played. I also faced this while I am going through my Gmail. The most annoying part is even the screen recording can’t capture the hanging and it shows frozen screen and don’t shows I am blocking it.

Upgraded from 12pro to 15 plus for batter performance but thats not a good experience from new phone as i am continuously facing screen freezing problems while receiving a call most of the time when phone rings i was not able to pic call as screen is freezing frequently is totally unresponsive from last 4-5 months

Even more worst is when the apple software team deal with it for repairs but that doesn't gave any solution even i hve submitted my phone to iphone care 4-5 times in between that period still not got any solution yet its been 4 days again my phone is in care centre doesn't know what they are dealing with it i hve to travel 150 km for care visit its hard from personal perspective to travel frequently for these issues and also our work schedules get disturbed also

I have this same problem. The keyboard sometimes glitches, apps such as instagram and Twitter glitch, especially whenever there’s a video playing.

typing this on my 15 pro, there have been a dozen keyboard glitches.

Ive never had this problem with my 13. Thankfully I still have it so I can use it if this problem persists but I didn’t spend $1100 on a phone to not use it.

This is frustrating! I’ve got a clear glitch on my phone the resolution provided was to wait for the next OS upgrade. I got iPhone 15 Pro a week ago and they won’t return or refund or even agree they are accountable for the $2000 that we’ve paid! What a load?!

I am also facing the similar problem, I use very less apps and not a gaming person.

whatsapp and gmail hangs a lot. I recently upgraded from iPhone 11 to 15 and i just hate my decision

replcing the unit does not solve the issue I replaced mine for a brand new sealed

I have the 15 ProMax 500G and the Apple Maps app keeps freezing and locking up the phone. Battery is also cutting to half after 3 hrs of use. Not happy and it’s less than a week old.

What version of ios are you using and what was the APP?

The camera froze today. Had to reboot. Fifth day using the 15 pro max.

This has happened quite a few times when trying to answer a call, it won’t read/feel my swipe, or it freezes when trying to read a text message. Very frustrating
