iPhone 15 - Freezing and Glitching Issue

I have this issue, too. I restored my iPhone 15 Pro from an iPhone X backup, and I change the Reduce Motion option often, if that matters.

My screen will zoom in and glitch so I can’t unzoom the screen. Making it impossible to use the phone. I have to wait for my phone to die and restart. This has happened 3-4 times in 2 weeks

Moved from iPhone 12 Pro to 15 plus. Seeing lots of freezing and glitches especially in the call screen buttons. Have to close the screen completely and start over again.

Wanted to bump this. Im having issues daily. Apps freeze all the time. Snapseed - cant save images. Facebook - if I share reel with messenger i need to restart the app. List is long.

just got the iPhone 15 pro and it is complete trash. It keeps freezing and the screen goes completely black when in apps like instagram where sound continues to play and no hard restarts work. They also changed all our tones! WTH?!? Are you gonna fix this apple? I don’t want you to control the volume of my iPhone either! You aren’t my mom. Anyone else having issues?

I feel you, same here… I traded in my 12 pro max on this 15 pro max. My 12 was in prefect condition. I like phone on this 15 pro max but didn’t buy it for the phone. I got it for the upgrade features. But if it DON’T WORK what good is it???? E1951

Me too. I haven’t sent my iPhone 11 in trade yet. It works perfectly. I may keep that and return the iPhone 15 Pro Max. Regarding the display, the AMLCD screens don’t suffer burned in images like OLED screens do. What does it matter if the colors are better if images burn in? Apple has exacerbated this problem with the option of the always on screen. Apple, please get your act together.

So you can be pretty sure that the APP devs are doing the same thing.

So without pouring over code dumps you cant point the finger solely at Apple.

Also the final factor is the end user. Do they keep all their APPs updated? Do they allow the APPs to phone home with user data on crashes etc.

Bugs if they are caught often are “fixed” in the next release in order to make the delivery date.

The idea is sold on being able to deliver enhancements faster to the end user.

It’s also very hard to do what Apple does in supporting older models way longer than the competitors.

That increases the testing efforts and one of the reasons why this ancient Apple user sticks with them. It’s why you can still trade in your older phones.

Hello! I have upgraded my iPhone 13 to 15 pro max and you can imagine how many problems I’ve been having with my phone.

it get hot constantly, the pictures are extremely dark and the worst pic ever, grey, dark and the person you can even see because is blurry.

the battery only last for 3 or 4 hours and when I put it to charge, I can use it because it get really hot!!

not sure what I have to do…. But I hate this phone… and it cost a lot of money!!!

My iPhone 15 pro is two weeks old and keeps freezing, the screen turns white when on WhatsApps calls. I was trying to input a calendar entry and when I save it the time scroll was showing as a watermark in the background????

Mine is doing the same. In addition, the volume buttons on the left side do nothing when pressed. They worked at first but the last few days they stopped working. All I’ve done is install updates. I’ve changed nothing.

My App directing to a page from the menu is stuck only on iPhone15.

When I press a page in the menu, the App will start running a loading icon and directing to a new page. But when I used iPhone15(iOS17) to do so, the App got stuck, the loading icon just kept running but the App did not jump to the new page. Wait for more than 10 minutes, the App is still the same.

The issue will only be encountered on iPhone15+iOS17, I have tried iPhone14+iOS17 works fine. And iOS11 to iOS16 all are fine.

Does anyone know how to deal with it? Please help!!

Just got my iphone 15 pro and it’s been freezing regularly. Has frozen 5 times today. Even usual hard restart doesn’t work. I did use Siri to power off & then I turned it back on successfully, but who knows how long till next freeze-up.
